Hello, and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Molly Walker and I am a 1991 graduate of St. Mary’s Collage.  I graduated from St. Mary’s with a degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career at WACS in 1992 as a second grade teacher.  I also taught third grade, kindergarten and preschool at Cathedral and St. Mary’s until May of 2000.  I had eight wonderful years teaching at WACS, I always felt so fortunate to be a part of the WACS family!  It was a very difficult decision for me to leave the teaching profession when I did but one I will never regret because this gave me the opportunity to stay home and take care of my four young children.  I did continue to remain active in various educational programs, always hoping there would be a time when I could work with children and their families again, something I truly love to do.
Outside of the classroom I love to spend time with my family, my husband Scott and our four children Tom, Sarah, Julie and Laura.  When we are not at a band event, volleyball or basketball game or at the ice rink our family loves to camp, and go to our family lake home in Delavan, Wisconsin.  We also enjoy just spending time with each other and our two Golden Retrievers, Bailey and Wrigley. Before coming back to WACS in January of 2012, I worked at Companion Animal Care Center.  I enjoyed working with the clients and their pets and the great team at Companion but I really love teaching so now I am back to what it is I am truly meant to be doing, teaching!  First grade is such a wonderful year and I am excited to be apart of this important year in your child’s education.
Blessings,
Mrs. Walker
